Consumer Focus Groups
GPH recognises that engaging consumers and carers in the design, delivery and evaluation of care has a significant benefit to our clinical quality and health outcomes.
Research supports the view that the engagement of consumers in the health care and treatment has contributed to improved health outcomes for individuals, and this is all supported by Ramsay Healthcare and the National Safety and Quality Health Services Standards.
Our main focus of this group is to
- improve the Patient Journey; Admission process, waiting times, nursing care, discharge process
- Enhance Glenferrie developed patient information by ensuring the consumer and carer perspective is incorporated into the development of this material
- Improve patient satisfaction

- Escalation of care
- Handover process
The sessions run for approximately 2 hours, and light refreshments will be served.
